My book doesn't show any VAMs for the 1921S.

There are PLENTY of 1921-S VAM's but unfortunately I dont know what they are, and you would have to take more pictures specifically of the whole Obverse and Reverse and they need to be pretty good pictures also so they can see details that may be doubled or die cracks on the coin and stuff like that

Who, me? I don't know of any broken-star VAM's on 1921-S coins. The majority of 1921-S obverse VAM's are either polishing lines, or doubling/tripling, most commonly on the left side stars and date. Amacs44, can you give the coin a closer going-over (the magnification your detail pics are at should be enough) for doubled features? The doubling will be towards the rim.

I will leave this one to the master of 21's because they are definately a whole different world from what I collect

amacs, I gotta defer to Bryan and Dave on this since I'm not a VAM collector (with exceptions). 1921 Morgans are in a league of their own due to their numbers. With any high mintage, there are likely to be many more varieties than other issues. Whether these varieties are significant or obvious enough to become described VAMs is up to the VAM collectors and describers. Alternatively, with so many varieties and high mintage, the potential is there for new VAMs to be described. Fred
