Taking A Coin Out Of It's TPG Holder

mattbrowning7 Valued Member United States 321 Posts	Posted 07/31/2010 3:22 pm I just got my first pcgs coin - 1925 $1 MS 64 I want to put it in my Dansco and since its really not very valuable, I see no issue in "cracking it out". rastatodd Valued Member United States 487 Posts	Posted 07/31/2010 6:49 pm I just broke out my 2005 American Silver Eagle with the use of a simple wire cutters and some force. It worked great! Didn't have a bolt cutter at hand. And the coin was unharmed. Report this Post to the Staff

Metalman Pillar of the Community United States 7123 Posts	Posted 08/01/2010 02:47 am I use a small grinder and grind thru the seal then just lift the slab halves apart and take the coin out, I have done this many many times without a probl;em. Report this Post to the Staff
