I've got a 2006 no logo magnetic, probably ms-60 or as much as ms-62. I think it maybe sells for $80 on ebay if certified. However, as no one knows the mintage of this coin yet, they may turn out to have substantial value. The market is green on this coin so prices vary widely at this time. Personally, I'm keeping mine :)

Charlton 2011 says its worth $800. I think you could easily get $350+

Call me crazy but I think Charlton is wrong on this coin as there are really no sales to support their valuation. I spoke to Steven Bromberg from Canadian Coin Currency and he said sometimes Charlton prices are off and he thinks it may sell between $1000 and $3500. I guess I will just have to wait and see what one sells for down the road.

The other problem with coins right now is our economy is down and people are not putting their money into hobby items such as coins. I think that having an MS-65 2006 Mag is only going to increase in value but it won't be recognized for several years when the mintage becomes known. It seems, darryl, that you are in a position to start setting the benchmark if you choose to sell it. As I said however, I think keeping it is a much better investment. What other coin can you buy for 1cent and realize several hundred or thousands of dollars in just a few years? ebay and coin shows are where you'll see more prices on these coins. Wish I could help more, but the economy on that coin hasn't established itself yet in my opinion.

Im not an expert in the pricing of these pennies, but most coins in the Charlton are over priced. For example a regular 2006 penny in MS-64, Charlton prices that at $10, I find those pennies in that condition every day.

it states in the charlton catalog that their prices are based on TPG coins so most of the 10 dollar value of a 2006 penny would be in the grading costs! that being said the lowest price in their book should be 7-10$
