he always has some nice nice coins on ebay (under his other name) and on his website but I think he may have out did himself this time. he must have hit the FUN show with his wallet wide open and just had people reaching in and taking what they wanted

Walk in the door, stuff your t-shirt cannon with money, and pull the trigger.

200 t-shirts up to 150 yards at a rate of 3 t-shirts per second. How much money per minute does that translate to?

I'm laughing so hard I'm crying now.
Mental picture: Contursi walking the floor of FUN, the whole place covered twelve inches deep in his money, picking whatever he wants from everybody's cabinets. Kinda like schussing through leaves in the fall.
Dump trucks of money being tilted into a huge shaft with a blower attached at the side, and the nozzle ending at the door into FUN. People being knocked down by the volume of paper striking them.

I thought they were a joke at first when I saw them on ebay, but I was actually thinking of buying something about a month ago...

If I shelled out $5000 on a coin now though, my girl friend would probably shoot me...we're trying to save to move out.

Well, you'd be single but at least you'd get value for money. Contursi doesn't do "low-end for the grade."

You are correct, he has some of the nicest coins and one of the best eyes for picking them of just about anyone I have seen in the business. You definitely get what you pay for when you are dealing with him. I could have swore I had heard of him being affiliated with some not so scrupulous others at one time but not sure since this happened before I got into collecting heavily. I go to his site often just to look around and have thought seriously about pulling the trigger a couple of times and still may before long

look at the 1923 S peace, mine is 1000% better. I mean perfect, in a case, one pin point of tarnish on the obverse away from anything. I wish to heack I could upload my pics on here, grr. I don't want to put them on a public site like photobucket first and I can't figure out how to reduce size. can I reshoot on the camera at lower pixels, ( 100), ?
