Agreed, MS-64 BN. It's a great coin and you can see some of that purple toning.

MS-64 BN, that's probably one of the nicest looking "woody" Indian Heads I have ever seen... Stunning

Thanks - I fell in LOVE with it when I first saw it. They probably could have gouged me for a lot more money! :)

Hey, I just noticed this. Look at that "S" shape off the denticles bottom-reverse. What is that?

Interesting - it doesn't show up on the coin under a 10x loupe. I'm guessing it's a reflection off of something?

Updated with a few new pics - removed the coin from the 2x2 - and definitely no "s" on the reverse.

That is interesting. I'll say it may just have been a fiber off the 2x2. Look closely at that same reverse pic at the 2:30 and 3:00 positions, and there appear to be a couple more.

I'll agree with the consensus on the condition grade of it, too, MS-64. Marketwise, eyewise, it's moon-money. Very stunning!

What kind of estimate would you imagine this one is worth? I doubt i'll ever sell it.. but I picked it up for pretty cheap.
