The idea here is to start posting pictures of your coins. we start with any coin from 2011, then 2010, then 2009,you get the idea. rules: you must own the coin. it must be dated. it can be from any country. YOU MUST GO IN ORDER. and you have to have pics, no saying I have a 2011 penny without posting pics. The guys on the coinpeople forum got to like the 1550's and are still going. lets start!

I'll play! The pictures are scans so we won't see much luster. Too lazy to bring out my camera. 2011 Silver ASE. Too bad about the hits on the shield and what not. Didn't feel like touching the ones in the tube. Cheers! Ryan

If the point of this thread is to get to the good early stuff, then I shall be happy to hasten it along. Here ya go, some images of my esteemed ancestor! Allow me to congratulate the thread starter by saying it's about time someone did this. It would seem there should be some clearer ground rules though. For example, are multiple coins of a year ok? How about sets? When one year is posted, must the next coin then move directly on to the next older year? Or can there be repeats? I can hardly wait to get into the 18th century and beyond. *** 2009 images added by the Staff to replace missing 2009 images ***dspenciner: GoldenChest:

multiple coins and sets are OK, repeats and skipped years are not. if you have a coin from 1550 that you want to post, and we are stuck on 1551, you have to wai until someonr posta a coin from 1551 until you can post yours from 1550. anyone have a 2007?

Anyone who carries pocket change is likely to have a 2007. I wonder how far this can go with just pocket change.
