Got me to thinking about largest gold nuggets ever, and that multiplied by 1500, lol. I found a neat link here with a list of nuggets from Alaska, the largest being 294 troy oz and some change. So around 440,000 that would be worth. That hunk of gold would look nice in my collection needless to say.... It also seems like on the TV show "Gold Rush", they ran one of those on the way to break trivia facts about the largest gold nugget being found on a bulldozer shovel in Alaska up to that point in the early 1900's, and it seems like it weighed around 140 troy oz..... http://www.akmining.com/mine/nuggets.htm Edited by Silverhawk74 04/20/2011 2:35 pm Report this Post to the Staff
