Hello,

Found an 1892 half-dollar on ebay that I believe has been misattributed as obv. 3, when in fact it is the much more common obv. 4.

...just thought I'd let everyone know.

ebay Item Number: 380357164127

Anyone knows how scarce is the obv3?

What do you think of the scarier of the obv3?

The obv. 3 is very underrated (IMO), and is probably almost as scarce as the 1888 50 cents obv. 4.
Many times you will see people who claim to have these scarce obv. varieties on ebay, but 9/10 they are not. I would always make sure that the pics are good enough to verify with your own eyes, or I would not buy.
