Marketing can sell anything because people will buy. Nothing wrong with playing the metal markets though if you want to play in base metals you are going to need a lot more than few overprices coins.

I was just coming around to trying to push copper as a PM.

I just call it (copper) a good recycle metal since it is easy to get.

More of a novelty then investment it looks like. 4 was sold, not rolls of 4 rolls of 25-50

I bought a 1 oz copper round from a dealer I know last weekend for $2 just because of the novelty of it.

Compared to these zinc rounds, I got the bargain of the century.

Zinc bullion? I have not considered a base-metal hedge.
If someone really wants zinc, banks have boxes of it.

So gold is for the rich. Silver is poor mans gold. Copper is poor mans silver. So... people who can't afford to invest in copper buy zinc?

I'm going to just start selling dirt on ebay. It has more uses.

Or you could reinvigorate the Pet Rock fad.

I have a feeling with the self prescribed panic mode we're in, you will soon be able to sell a fistful of dirt for the chance to find a rare golden coin in it. All you can do is sit back and watch the rest of the nation go stone age...

Poor men do not own either one... copper, maybe. I get your point but it still sounds funny to me.
