Just realized my 1922 D has a couple of die cracks in the back. I was so excited to find a 1922D I didn't even realize this when first going over it!

Nice find. I have one like that, too, and another one with a third crack coming off the other wheat stalk and connecting to the rim about 1/3 of the way down. I don't see that third one on yours, but it's the faintest crack. FWIW, these cracked-up reverse dies are very well-known and documented.

I've gradually been working on a die crack set for these. The cracks are well documented and understood as there's only a few certain types, the one with 3 die cracks is the highest number.
