trent Valued Member United States 355 Posts	Posted 05/11/2012 11:13 pm There's a few things I noticed on this coin that I'm not sure what to make of. OBVERSE 1.) Mint mark. -First, I'm wondering if that's a die chip or something right in the middle of the mint mark? -What is the mint mark, D or S? -Is it possible for this to be a D/S OMM? What do I have here? 2.) The first 'T' in TRUST is much smaller than the rest of the letters in TRUST. Even smaller when compared to the letters in 'WE'. 3.)Appearance of doubling of 'I' and 'B' in LIBERTY. (or maybe just damage) I'm not sure if this is some kind of error or variety or or just a normal cent. Any info is much appreciated. Thanks. -Trent. Possible RPM with second,lighter D north of primary MM.This might be just die scratches. 2:Partially filled die. 3:Damaged.PMD I'm no pro,others may have better info. CaptainFwiffo Pillar of the Community United States 4132 Posts	Posted 05/11/2012 11:32 pm It's a normal cent. It's a die chip inside the mintmark (it's a D), and that's probably the most common place for them. The apparent doubling in LIBERTY is just damage. Report this Post to the Staff
