Hi,
I was going through my coins today and found a coin with islamic script on it and I have no idea about the lineage.

Welcome to the forum, krishna!

This is Indian state of Hyderabad. Looks like 2 anna to me, minted between 1916 and 1936. But to get a positive ID and pinpoint the date I need to see the other side as well.

OK, first I thought it was a silver coin but now I see it's rather bronze.

It must be 2 pai. I still cannot see the date, it's right under the toughra but the picture is too small. The last digit looks like 8, and the next to last, I cannot decide, either 4 or 3 (once again, I can't see for sure). So, it would be either AH 1338 (1919) or AH 1348 (1929).

regnal year looks to be 19 - so AH1348 (1929)
