I'm taking a wild stab at this but I say it's a Japanese 5 Sen coin dated 1920. I would grade it VF+, maybe EF. Hope I'm right.

I'm pretty sure it's a 5 Sen dated 1923 (but I could be wrong). VF sounds about right to me, however it isn't worth much more than a couple of dollars, it is fairly common.

I agree with vb on the date, Taisho 12 = 1923, but disagree on the denomination.
