Turtlerunner New Member United States 4 Posts	Posted 02/12/2013 9:03 pm Hello All...Today a friend traded me this 2007 Washington quarter coin he got in his change for a regular quarter so he could put it in the pop machine. The coin has a copper colored wide edge around it. Can anyone tell me if it is an error or just encased in some kind of circular ring? Thanks Report this Post to the Staff

But it is a case of post-strike damage. The edge seems to have been intentionally rolled and squeezed in a mechanical device. Error coin writer and researcher. Report this Post to the Staff
