I was reading a bit yesterday and came across http://www.worldofcoins.eu/forum/in...topic=2791.5 - the second post from the bottom mentions a 1911 50c with all the King's titles rather than just REX ET IND:IMP:
I tried searching for some more information on this mule but came up blank, so can anyone shed any light on it?

"The Canadian Coin News publication printed an article showing a well-worn 1911 50¢ example that did have the "DEI GRA" abbreviation.[6] This coin has not yet been certified as genuine, having been rejected by ICCS, the popular Canadian grading company."

Canada started making all its own currency in 1908. I think the dies were still being made in England, but that mule would be one heck of a mess up.

And technically it would not be a Canadian mule at all since the mistake would be using a Canada die making a Newfoundland coin.
