Now on "awaiting stock" status. A bit surprised, but I have a feeling it'll be available again. As a suggestion, the Mint could put hologram stickers like on the penny rolls and just maybe the last roll of 2013 50-cent rolls might be worth a little premium.

I think having the coloured coat of arms makes this year more desirable than the wraps in the previous issues.

As I observed previously - the 50 cent roll isn't "hot", but desirable item, so I will not be surprised, if it sold-out.

Theoretically, this is the case.
But for now they probably have it "in-store", and if you will wait till it - will be too late.
Except this, they aren't in the Toronto itself, but in the Richmond Hill, driving 25 km from the downtown Toronto.

In general "nice-to-visit" store: their display really great, and it is possible to see the coins...

Added:
sorry, now got the idea - to order online and then to pick up from store.

lol Ya I placed the order online today and paid for the roll and chose the pick up option. It works well for me because I am in the North York area so just a 10 minute drive. Understandably not quite as convenient for the downtown person. I've never been to the store, will give me a reason to stop in!

I like it, SilverBug, thanks for posting the picture.

Since the RCM started to change the colour of the wrap for the 50c, decided to have 1 per each year. And 2012 (that I missed) to have as example of last roll in "old" special package.

Btw, like I did for "Farewell to Penny" roll, I consider to buy some clear plastic tube for 50c rolls, to keep the printing in safe and to be able to see it.
