Magic Numbers New Member United Kingdom 2 Posts	Posted 06/22/2014 6:38 pm Found this coin today, has been in my family for a number of years (I remember seeing it when I was a kid - I am now 40) but neither my mother or I know where it is from or anything about it, but it is certainly an interesting coin. They very frequently turn up here on the forum for ID, because they do look "coin-like" and there is no English-language script on them to help with a Google-search. But if you search for either "Ramatanka" or "Indian temple token" using the forum search feature, you'll find dozens of folks with these things who were just as confused by them as you and your mum were.
