TV coin guys selling a bunch of grimy War Nickels. The grade - circulated or better. Do they have no shame? Buy them all day long on ebay for around $45 per roll, or pay the tv guys $69.

You don't follow the various topics on ebay fun it seems.
Have seem quite a few listings which specify "circulated", "well circulated" and even "very circulated".
Mostly for non-US coins though - yesterday I posted one in the ancient forum where the catchphrase was:

"Partly cleaned, really nice, but heavily circulated. Attractive patina."

That would be PCRNHCAP or the abbreviated CCAP 3.5 by the AWGS (Amalgamated Worldcoin Grading Service) coming soon to an on-line auction website near you.

abbreviated CCAP

Methinks "CRAP no details" would be more appropriate

Considering you are not allowed to assign a numerical grade unless the coin is slabbed per ebay rules, you force people to use terminology like that. And if you think about it for a minute, it makes sense. A circulated coin is going to be mid rage at very fine. Lightly circulated is XF well circulated is down to fine heavy is good.

So using ones ability to think things through, that TV guy just said they would be VF or better coins. Pretty simple and not sure why that terminology warrants derision. But yes, they ARE over priced.
