Sending Coin To PCGS Or NGC

Find a US dealer who will submit it for you IF you want it in a PCGS or NGC slab.
That will work best if you deal with someone on a frequent basis.
Most dealers won't want to do it if you are a one-time customer.

OTHER POSSIBILITIES:
-- If you'll accept ANACS I don't think you have to join.
-- If you join the ANA then NGC will grade your coins without you having to pay the NGC membership fee. You'll just have to pay the slabbing fee plus S&H both ways (which you'd have to do anyway). You'll also end up getting the ANA monthly publication.

Since it's a Canadian coin ICCS should certainly be considered.
But a few caveats:
-- shipping back and forth over the US-Canadian border would probably be annoying at best
-- expect the ICCS grade to be ½ to a whole grade lower than PCGS or NGC; the grading standards are different.

If it's a rare coin, it might be worth the membership fee to get it graded by PCGS, otherwise ANACS is a good choice, or ICCS, but don't know much about them.

ngc is better

Of it's a Canadian coin, Canadians will pay top dollar for coins graded by ICCS. It's only $11 plus shipping.'its believed they're tops where Candian coins are concerned, as it's their specialty and what their business is founded on. The American tgps aren't as familiar with the nuances of our coins. This is what I keep hearing. When I buy graded Canuck circulation coins I go ICCS or CCCS, there's two Canadian company's . ICCS uses the soft flips, while the other guy gives a choice of soft flip or hard slab.
