hear! hear! Definately agree with that ! And it even seems like there's an opportunity to actually make some new friends as well ! There's a lot of really decent normal people here and you can easily drift off from "coin discussions" and find yourself wanting to talk about Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness ! Much kudos to "Metalman" and whoever else are the "parents/overseers" here.

SO WELCOME TO ALL YOU NEW ONES. So Tracker exactly what are you going to get started at? And eaglefoot: Just what do you mean by NORMAL. You haven't met me yet or you wouldn't say that. So now back to coins. Start asking or we'll fall asleep.

just carl....... Actually you're one of the people I'm referring to !! I've read many of your responses and you "are" --- decent, normal, and knowledgeable ! And I took a digital camera home from the office here to take pics of some coins and post them........ but now I have to go to my bank on the other side of town and get into my two safety deposit boxes and bring some home. But just a few........because I don't even have a "temporary" safe yet.....as per the other thread where you and I agreed on the "safe" discussion. I'm looking forward to "evolving" more and more into this "forum" and sharing coin purchases......getting a thumbs up or down, etc etc. This is just dang fun !

I have been collecting the pandas for a few years now. I also wanted to get into the presidential coins. Once I learn a little more......who knows. I have a lot of foreign coins from my travels(thanks to uncle sam). I'm not sure what I wiil end up doing. And I definately am not normal, just ask me, I'll tell ya.

just Carl. I just decided to get a little more serious about collecting. As I have said I know enough to be dangerous, Mostly to myself. I have some commerative coins. The 9-11 coins and some indian chiefs. Mainly I have been collecting the pandas. Mostly silver and the frosted coins. I do have some of the gold pandas but not many.
