I picked this unc coin out of my LCS 25 cent box and was pleased to spot the small date. I also see there's some doubling on the date, is this common for this issue?

I doubt there's any premium that'd apply due to the doubling. But a nice find in that condition for that price.

From what I see this appears to be Mechanical Doubling rather than a doubled die. Such an occurrence is relatively common on coins of most countries.

Nevertheless, a nice uncirculated piece.
