1962 D Lincoln Reverse Stamping - Coin Community Forum

clados New Member United States 12 Posts	Posted 08/05/2015 10:13 pm I am new on here and coin collecting in general. I inherited a nice size coin collection from a relative. The coin in question is one I have had since 1976. From what I see, there is a reverse stamping of the Monticello on the front of this coin and a reverse stamping of a Wheat penny on the back of the coin. How could this be? It also looks as if it was repunched. The coin seems warped (does not lie flat). I apologize in advance if my terms are not proper. Report this Post to the Staff
