http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-S-VDB-...em4af137bbfaWay too low of a price for an authentic 1909 S VDB to be selling at, not to mention it's a BIN with NO returns. Fields have no scratches other than the primary damage in which I'm sure the counterfeiter caused themselves just to make the coin look old and circulated, but still will end up making quite a bit of money in the end. There's die bubbles going on above "Liberty" too. The fields are just too clean. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-S-VDB-...em2ee694f31bBad pictures, yes I know. Mintmark is too big though. Coin is highly polished. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1909-s-VDB-...em2ca235d472A good counterfeit at that. The reverse fields are clean of scratches and so is the obverse. Yes the lighting is terrible, but you can still see from the reverse there's no scratches or marks in the fields. A key characteristic to a counterfeit. Oh and, the seller has a randomly typed/generated username, 0 feedback, and joined 6 days ago!

Sharp eye. It does not match any of the 4 well-established obverse dies (especially the MM relative to the tail of the first 9), and the crossbar of the B in "VDB" does not appear to dip. Fake.

On the third auction you listed, I saw where Mr. Zero Feedback boldly states "It is an authentic coin with almost no wear and has a pleasing red to brown color with few contacts or imperfections."

Quote: Bad pics on this one, but reminds me of the coins on the no-no site.
As it should, it's fake. So many people buying these chinese fakes and putting them on ebay.

I bet the TPGs are making a killing on "no grade" coins. People have got to be buying these at flea markets and such and sending them in.
