Chevrolet, I was snowed in last week and I will probably be snowed in today. We've had several snow storms here. Everything is covered in ice. When I do get out I will be searching for 2 uncirculated stacks of 2006 for you. I believe it's $50.00 in a stack. Would you like one or two stacks? Or maybe you don't want that many. Please let me know.
Uncirculated stacks are consecutively numbered.

The only place I've seen them truly circulate is at the occasional "gentleman's entertainment" establishment. Sometimes they've tried giving out $2's as change at the door, to encourage an upgrade to the usual $1 tip.

So I've heard.

Chevrolet, The banks that did have 2006 no longer have any at this time. But I'll check in from time to time. They can be ordered but for a particular year.

Thingee,

I sent an email to you. I stoped by my bank today and asked about them. All they had was 12 dollars worth of them. That bank teller told me they dont ordor them and they have very hard time geting rid of them if they get them. They claim nobodys wants them and dont ordor straps.

Dates on them were 4 1976 that were in decent shape, One 1995, 2003 they wrote on with pin. Not the best ones out there.

I did check my 1976 two dollar bill set out. I need an 1976 cleveland note to finish it to get one each on all 12 banks. In my stash I looked thru and found a pile dallas texas 1976 notes compared to other banks.

Those 2006 notes must be rare or not released yet . Reason I cant find them on ebay. 1995 and 2003 notes can be found. Your bank had those 2006 notes or were they selling you 2003 notes. I never seen the 2006 notes in circultion yet.

In Coin World some dealer was asking 3.95 for single notes for 1976, 1995, 2003. I never thought peaple would buy them overface like that. They not worth it or rare notes. I use them sometimes as spending money if I need them just like bady dollar coins or halfs as spending money. I guess the dealer was trying make some money.

It was not complete waste of time at bank trying to get two dollars bills. I scored an 2007 denver bu penny coin box . My box has 50 rolls of brand new 2007 denver cents in there. Thats cool I did get 12 bucks worth 2 dollars bills and one fedbox full of bu coins.

Back in the 40's my Mom worked in a Dept. store. The employees were paid in cash with the $2 bills that came in. They figured that was the best way to "Get rid" of them.

If some of you guys interested in CU $2 bills, I can start asking my banks. I usually get them (whole stack) but then when I run low on cash.... I just cash them back in to pay my bills.....

Let me know how you want them.

As a proud Clemson University alumnus and tribute to the upcoming Chick-fil-A Bowl in Atlanta, I must post this link about the significance of the $2 note for the Clemson faitful.
