Can anyone tell me what this coin is and what language is used on it?

Here are some better pictures next to a quarter for size comparison. I don't have exact weight but it weighs about twice as much as the quarter.

Looks more like a fantasy token or a possible temple token of some kind. Ashi is the name of an Indian jewelry manufacturer
