Been told this might be a "copper token" or an European coin and that it wasn't worth anything because of the bad quality. Not sure why a copper token would have a one (1), a date, and a mint mark on the back. It doesn't look like any European coin I saw on the internet. They tend to be a little fancy. The back looks similar to the back of a 1859 U.S. Gold Dollar, but as you can see, it is penny-size and is copper. The front of the coin is pretty smooth and only one or two of the letters can be distinguished. Thought I heard that Baltimore once was a possibility for a mint but was not selected, but that has been awhile back. I realize it isn't worth anything because of the quality, but now am more interested in finding out some information about it, if possible. Any information would be appreciated.
