I have a 1916 Barber dime that I think has a chipped planchet but there is a weird bend in the spot where I think it is chipped. Could you help me and tell me if it is a chipped planchet or somehting else just hit it, bend it, and chipped it

All opinions welcome!!
Sorry I can't get any photos on the post, the dime is too small for my camera and looking from the top, it looks like a normal Barber dime.!!

without a photo it is going to be difficult to say what it is, it could be a clipped planchet or it could also be post mint damage but without seeing the coin it is almost impossible to determine which one it is but from the description of the bend near the clip I am leaning towards post mint damage but a photo may change my mind

Two things...

1. It's "clipped" planchet...not "chipped" planchet.

2. If your coin looks normal from the obverse or reverse, it's not clipped. It's probably a hit or other damage.

That plus there's no way anyone can really help you without an image. We're stabbing in the dark, literally. This hobby is very visually driven. General questions about coins without photos are fine, but a question about a specific coin requires photos for any meaningful help.
