Jays-Dad Pillar of the Community United States 790 Posts	Posted 07/09/2008 11:33 am I finally decided to buy rolls. I asked for as many rolls of halves and dollars as I could get. The teller just rolled her eyes and very reluctantly sold me one of each. I'm guessing this is not her favorite thing to do. I found 2 40% silvers in the single roll of halves. Seems like a good find to me. I noticed that the Presidential dollars are not consistent. Some edge lettering is in one direction, some upside down. Is this a collectible (savable) variety or do I need just one example of each to "complete" the set someday? Report this Post to the Staff

You can collect both "types" if you want.; I am sure someone out there is! I am still trying to decide if I even want to collect mint-marks on this series. Since the mint-mark is on the side, I cannot see it when the coin is in the album. I ask myself, "what is the point of having two coins that look identical in the album?" Ah, decisions!
