Both sides can sometimes help in this analysis. If that is raised up, it is nothing more tha what is known as a "Linear Plating Bubbles". Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4410 Posts	Posted 12/31/2017 6:46 pm to the forum! Your coin is a normal 1990 penny minted by the Philadelphia Mint for circulation. Worth one cent. The rare 1990 no mintmark penny is a proof coin, issued in proof sets. They were not meant for circulation and typically have mirror-like surfaces. Report this Post to the Staff
