Koinz Valued Member United States 71 Posts	Posted 05/14/2018 12:05 pm I received these coins a while back in a junk lot I purchased from ebay. I have tried searching them, but I've had no luck. There are a couple that are pretty trashed, and I don't really expect an identification on those, but I figured I'd try anyway. I just don't even know where to begin finding info on any of them. Apologies in advance, I haven't posted many pictures on here, and I'm still confused about it, therefore the pictures are sidways. Report this Post to the Staff

Probably nothing to reveal with more cleaning. 2 - Late Roman, Victory dragging captive type from the dynasty of Theodosius: http://www.tesorillo.com/aes/135/135i.htm 3 - Too far gone. If I had to guess, I would say provincial of Elagabalus or Severus Alexander - I had a coin of Elagabalus from Marcianopolis with about the same portrait. 4 - Too far gone. I see a tripod altar, but that's a pretty ubiquitous feature of many Greek and Provincial coins. 5 - Pretty rough, but portrait looks like it could be Septimius Severus?
