Found this quarter with what looks like PMD. I was just wondering if anyone has any idea what it was marked like this for?

Maybe a screwdriver and a hammer. Why is anyone's guess,only the person who did it knows for sure.

That would be a pretty large flathead screwdriver, but I can't offer a better scenario.

You can see the metal striation lines on the affected area on the obverse. Wan't done at the mint. PSD
