Hey guys, was just wondering if you could tell me how many steps this would be on my 1966 Jefferson nickel, I see 5 but I could be wrong. Your steps are beat up but it is not a full step nickel.

Just from the continuity of the lettering & the steps, we're looking at a proof.
Just the last certified 4 steps garnered nearly 4K on the bay.
The SMS is readilly avail. for 2 bucks.
I've box-found a few with a single,
but they were broken up.

It's not how many steps you see ,It's how many uninterrupted steps there are . By that I mean straight lines with no hits dents or wear on them .  |

Above the "T" is what the experts consider "bridging" between two steps. I have several early 1960s Nickels that didn't get Full Steps due to bridging. And I agree with fioti on this might be an SMS nickel but I'm only guessing based on the gloss-like surface in the photos. TPGs will not give full step designation on proofs or SMS nickels.
