Looks like a toned coin. May have been cleaned then toned. It may have been a cello holder for some time and toned. It may have been in a collectors album and toned. Where the toning rubbed off, it is turning the original color on the higher spots. Over a Billion nickels were made from Philly that year.
@TL, first welcome to CCF. Second, I agree that your nickel has nice toning, but that doesn't add to the value of this coin. Of course save it if you like the toning too.
