yooperbsn New Member United States 7 Posts	Posted 01/09/2020 10:08 am Thanks for the estimate! Truth be told, I found this coin while metal detecting. I called a local coin dealer (Michigan) and he said he couldn't put a value on it without it being professionally graded and recommended I send it to a grading company that specializes in Canadian currency. Even mentioning the G-04 grade given here he wouldn't budge from that recommendation. I'm sure I can find a company to grade this coin on this website, but based on some of the other posts I've read here I am questioning the value/benefit of sending this coin off to be graded. Should I just hold on to this for the sentimental value or would there indeed be a benefit to having it sent off to be graded?
