bogdog New Member United States 1 Posts	Posted 08/22/2021 11:44 am I have a penny that seems to be off center and the mint mark looks like a dragged strike. What type of error is this? I am new to the coin collection community so forgive me if this seems like a newbie question. sorry for not posting the reverse size, I appreciate your guy's feedback! We need to know if the reverse is centered, but it looks like this is a slightly MisAligned Die strike (MAD.) This one isn't off enough to demand a premium. These become collectable as an error when part of the design is cut off. I can't really tell if the coin had a mint mark, but the indention looks like circulation damage, not something that happened during the strike.
