Hello all!
I am new here and found this site while I was looking into an odd 1936 Wheat penny I have. It is a lot more corroded than the one you all were discussing. I don't have a scale to weigh mine but it is very light and sounds like a silver dime when dropped on the table. noticably lighter than other wheat pennies. My photos are not easy to read but the date is clearly visible in my microscope. It just intrigued me that they are the same year coin, and mine is progressed past the one in this post. I don't know if there is something with the 1936s that caused this. Just looking for your input!

major mike, we need FAR better (Sharp) photos than these. Please try again, and when you do, start a new thread of your own rather than replying to one that is a few years old, you'll get many more replies that way!
