i have this Morgan dollar in a older NGC holder, the holder is pretty scratched up. I was thinking at some point of maybe getting it re-holderd it cause is 1 of my only 2 morgans and my first graded one. and I was looking at VAM world awhile ago and there was a couple vams that kinda looked like some of the stuff on the coin but I have no idea. I don't know much about vams and it could just be nothing but I thought why not ask people who know what there doing. again sorry for the meh pics the holder is pretty scratched, and if you need more pictures just ask ill try to provide. thanks!

Actually all Morgan dollars should have a corresponding VAM number to match, so yours is one as are all others. I can't quite pin down a match here on what vam# you have, but I am sure it is there .
Rest in Peace

It looks like a VAM-73. VAM-15 shares this obverse die and there is a good close-up of the 1 under that listing.

I know ANACS does. Not sure about PCGS or NGC. They tend to be selective.

Edit to add - If you want the attribution on the label of an NGC or PCGS holder that they do not recognize an alternate route may be Variety Slabbing Service. John Baumgart founder of VSS is one of the best in the VAM field along with John Roberts at ANACS.
