Thanks for allowing me to join. I'm pretty new to collecting and searching for errors on cents and quarters mostly. I have found a few errors on new quarters and saw a post on the coin channel from Tik Tok about the 1976 bicentennial quarter. I have several of these which I neglected to check since so many were minted. Just for giggles I decided to check them for the FS-101 DDO error and to my surprise I came across a few out of around 100 coins that seem to fit that description. I am in hopes to get some other opinions on what I found. I was reading some post here and the photos shared match what I have. I can post some photos maybe tomorrow if anyone would like to give me an opinion before I send them off to be graded. I tried this already on Facebook and some of the trolls AKA keyboard warriors are not very helpful or polite so I am reaching out for advice. I have searched and separated around $8,000 worth of quarters since the new year and have found several error coins from 2021 and up and 6 W quarters. I've purchased the Red Book and honestly this is the only book I've ever had the patience to read. I'd like a copy of the Cherry Pickers Guide but the price of the older versions are kinda high. My second question is if that guide is worth the money? Lastly, are there any other recommended books that are a good resource that won't break the bank? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

to CCF.

It would be a good idea to copy and paste your questions into 2 separate posts in the US coins ( or Errors) sections with compressed images of the coins in question.

Once again welcome aboard!

Before sending anything out to get graded, post a clear
photo of both sides on this for for opinions first.
