Keep looking.
Spend cash so you can get the coins and paper money to review.
Go to your local bank and talk to the tellers, see if they have any older bills that you can purchase. Let them know your interested in this type of money. Take the girl some flowers once in a while or a box of chocolates, they I am sure can not take money for what they take in. Maybe they got some silver coins, never hurts to ask.
