Day 366Today marks 1 year (and over 100,000 coins noodled) since I started this thread. I honestly thought I would have finished this project by now. I haven't found any of the coins I'm still looking for since my last update. The most interesting finds in the last month were: 1991 MOR $1 (only available in 1991 mint sets and "mint your own coin" at the RAM) 2003 Korean War $1 (C mint mark) - NCLT. This high grade coin hasn't spent long in the wild. Coins still to find:1966 silver 50c2019 W for Weetbix $1 2015 red ANZAC $2 2020 firefighters $2 2021 MOR $1

Day 474Still at it. Haven't found any of the coins I was still looking for 3 months ago, but Woolworths have released two more sets of what Princetane would call " bubblegum coins" and I have completed the 100 years of Vegemite coins without stepping foot into a Woolworths store: A 280g jar of the salty black stuff costs more than a set of these coins Now for those darn Matilda coins Coins still to find:1966 silver 50c2019 W for Weetbix $1 2015 red ANZAC $2 2020 firefighters $2 2021 MOR $1 2023 Matilda $1 x4 2023 Matilda $2 x3

2 year update Completed the one dollars apart from the 2021 mob of roos. Here's the Big Things set: Here's a bunch of Charles III mob of roos: Went through a bag of 1 cent coins someone handed into the bank. This NCLT 2017 possum magic 1 cent coin was a pleasant surprise: Still haven't found a 2020 firefighters $2 or a 2015 ANZAC $2. The search continues...

As only one third of your noodled coins are $2 , you might need to up the ante to find those 2 reclusive coins your after.

I wonder why the 2020 firefighter coins are so hard to find. I have only found 1 in circulation. I have found oodles of the 2020 75th anniversary $2 coins even though according to the Renniks book there were only 700,000 of those minted compared to 1.6million of the fire-fighters coins. I'm guessing that the fire-fighters weren't widely released? Wonder where they did go or perhaps only very few were released into circulation and the rest were released as rolls? The hunt continues...

When the RAM attended the ANDA show in Melbourne they did the bag swaps of the 2020 Firefighter $2 coins so they have had them stored away for some time.
