livingwater Pillar of the Community United States 2300 Posts	Posted 10/02/2024 8:26 pm If they are recessed, indents, below the flat of the coin, they are just scratches, post mint damage PMD, happened after it left the mint. If they are raised, above the field of the coin, then they may be die cracks, which happened when it was struck.
