I've been a collector of Lincoln cents since I was 7 and while I contemplated stopping when they went to Zincolns and then with the shield I continued. But I also wanted to stop as I really didn't like the zincolns. When I moved everything to a Dansco there was a place to stop after the Memorial cents as the spaces allowed one to go until 2019 or 2020 which made it a good point to stop. So here is my current collection of Lincoln cents.

I also have the 2009 Life of Lincoln Set in Satin. All of these are on original brass planchets.

Like many of us, I started off filling Whitman folders, at one point having multiple completed copies of each.

But I wanted better storage, so I went to a Raymond Waite album and then Dansco. As I was moving the coins, I had enough left over that I gave away 2 sets of the Lincoln cents, but I had a few older ones that I was planning to sell. After thinking it over, I moved them to a littleton folder.

The Whitman folders, first went to the Raymond Wait album and then I picked up 2 Danscos to store them. The first is my current master set of Wheat cents. This album is complete except for the 1922 no d which is slabbed.

As you can see I like proofs, so a few P mint where upgraded to proof.

Next we have the Lincoln Memorial and Shield cents. In a few of the P mint, I put in a proof.

As you can see I made good use of the blank spaces and this gave me a good stopping point.

That leads us to the multiple copies of whitman folders, did I have enough to make a 2nd complete set, wellll... technically no as I only had 1 S-VDB and 1 1914 D raw, but I ended up getting those 2 slabbed, so I do have a 2nd full set. The 1922 No D is a weak D.

If you zoom in on some of the coins there is a surprise.

Now, does this mean I am done? I don't know. I have no interest in getting the lincolns I am missing, but there are a few that I would like to upgrade, so the answer is probably no.

Thanks for looking.
