I'm not very good at grading but I'd say MS63 or 64. Under the chin it looks double clashed and may be a VAM 3A. Go to Vamworld.com and compare. VAMS are variety numbers for different dies. Edited by livingwater

I'm not liking the scratches on the cheek area. Could that be from a cleaning? I'm at MS-63/64 or MS details.

I don't see any wear but I also don't see luster. Might be a lighting issue or luster might be impaired by excessive dipping.
Minor contact marks plus a diagonal scratch across Liberty's cheek. I also see faint horizontal hairline scratches below her eye.
If luster is OK, MS-63 might fit. If luster is as weak as the photos suggest it might be judged a problem coin, like "MS detail improper cleaning".

Looks AU58 to me. Surfaces look impaired in the obverse above the ear and across the face and neck of liberty.

I agree that hairline scratches would earn a detailed grade. I don't think they are from cleaning but rather from a coin album cover (i.e. Dansko) or having moved across a desk etc. Hairlines do not go into field. here are pics that show luster better.   |
