This one is a fairly good cast counterfeit. Weight is 26.8g. But it shows some very strong die clash so putting it up as an example of a bad one with a nice error.

Thanks for the kind comments! Sometimes it seems like there are more issues with counterfeits than real coins. Certainly there are more strong doubled die counterfeits than on actual coins. I try to spend at least a little time looking at the coins other than just verifying they are bad, and see some really odd stuff on them.

Thanks for sharing. Mintmark size & placement seems to be an Achilles heel for some counterfeiters.
