Picked up a uncirculated roll from the bank and found a progression of 40 coins showing errors on all leading up to a catestrophic failure of some sort. Need help identifying and who to contact to get certified as official mint error. New to this whole coin thing

To CCF! Looks like a Struck Through error progression. Are you able to get full obverse and reverse pictures?

to CCF.

Nice strike through!

I wonder if the progression went the other way - Lots of grease at first then the grease working its way off as more nickels were struck.

Having 40 coins from the same roll that all contain errors that show the beginning of the errors and what they ended up as. How could I get this error certified. I have protected all 40 uncirculated coins in 2x2 cardboard covers. I tried to get the best photos on my phone as I could but doesn't do any justice. On reverse side the dome there are beehive errors and stress fractures and crazing on the roof line. on a lot of the the rim sizes differ being larger on 1 side compared to the other. And a lot of coins window on the left side of steps have blobs in them. Filled step towards the sides of steps where they meet front posts. And almost all the coins are full steps as well. Thanks for advise in advance

I you're meaning slabbed and graded? I don't think the value warrants the cost behind that (IMO) Maybe best to sell at auction on ebay, hopefully some of our member who sell on ebay will chime in on that.

They're not worth enough money to send in to a TPG. All of the fees from the cost of grading would exceed the value of all of the coins. Your best bet is to put them up for sale on ebay.

If you want to lay them out in order of progression, 2x2 binder pages or generic capital nickel holders (there's a 25-slot generic one) would look good

Congrats on a great find.

Yes I agree put them in 2x2's in order of progression, from start to the biggest one you have.
