Nevol Formerly nancyc Australia 5385 Posts	Posted 01/26/2010 04:25 am I assume you are referring to the 2 areas from about 4 to 4.30 and again at about 6.30 to 7.30. I'm not sure what the term is that is given to this type of rim anomaly on the $2 coins. I've had hundreds of them the majority being 1999. I don't consider them to be a rim Cud, because rim Cuds cover the entire thickness of the rim. I'm sure there will be a numismatic name for it, but I don't believe this is a rim Cud.
