People amaze me. I guess its time to grab about 10-20 1944D's and turn them into a huge profit.....wow.

I just happened to see this thread in time to watch the finish.

Typical bidding war at the end and the "lucky" bidder came in at last second and sniped a victory.

The seller seems be breaking up a nice set of Lincolns so these were just tossed along with everything else. Interesting to see how his/her feedback shows in a week or two. I have no real issue with the auction as it clearly states homemade but I still tend to frown on such auctions.

Yeah, I do not have an issue with the auction or seller either. I am just amazed that people do not read/understand what he is selling. I think I have about 15-20 44D, I guess I can make $1500-$2000 on them.

I wonder if he will even send the coins and contact the buyer about them. Too funny he says that.

I think the auction is a bit vague, the description is all fluff (intentional?), and only when pressed he admits these are 44-Ds.
But of course--buyer beware. I wondered if these were bid up for resale, but they are really obviously doctored coins. People.
