1808 Half Cent - Grading Help Requested

needgames4lyfe Valued Member United States 323 Posts	Posted 06/21/2010 09:53 am Hi, I was just working through my 'collection' and picked out a few coins which I was having a hard time grading. Could you guys help me out and tell me what you think the grade is and the value of the coin? These are the best pics I could provide. This coin seems to have original surfaces, and not have been cleaned, but I am no expert. Rims are dinged up but I can't tell following: (a) Are the rims begining to wear into the field? (b) Is there any detail in the hair of the portrait? (c) Can't see the bust line very well (d) Can't tell if there are any digs in the coin that would devalue the grade (e) Reverse looks in better condition than the obverse but I can't define any leave details With the current pics I would have to go with G-6 as well.
