I don't know much about these coins and they don't show up on ebay very often. But I look at it compared the picture in Krause and on the NGC site and I see some significant differences.

the obverse has the country name with a gap and the line design element looks way different. Plus lots of slight differences in the other lettering

On the reverse the K in the denomination is really off and again multiple other letters look different. Elongated or something.

Does anyone have an opinion on this one? Are there that kind of varieties known (nothing noted on NGC or Krause)

thanks for feedback

I'm no expert in fake coins, but this one seems very suspicious.

Quite scarce in any condition - used to be a bit more common but they just vanished from the market for unknown reason. Must be quite popular and not common to find. Checking on ebay shows that there are a couple but very highly priced and not all denominations are there.

As for authenticity, no opinion.

The problem I have with the coin is that it doesn't have the aged look. I'm not saying it should appear damaged or worn, but it literally looks like it was freshly minted.

Also, weavus135, you're correct. The spacing and markings don't match at all.
