Hello All- New to the forum and the art of coin collecting. I came across this 1983 P Washington quarter in a role and I can't tell if it is an error coin or not. Any help would be great.

Looks like it is a struck through error (grease). These are collectable, but usually the ones with more blockage of the dies leaving less devices are the more desirable. I save them for educational purposes. They are nice to show to new collectors and some buy them on ebay. But it would be to a collector that doesn't have one yet or one that is collecting these. But when they look like this one, they are more desirable:
